Multi-layer Bluray recordable DVD disk
In future more layers will be added to the bluray recordable DVD disk. Due to the multi layers of the bluray disc, it will be able to store large capacity of data varying from 100 GB to 200 GB.
This means that the storage capacity per layer
of blu-ray DVD disk would be 25 GB. The 50 GB disk of bluray DVD disk can hold HD video of more than nine hours and the SD video of about twenty three hours.
The BD-R bluray recordable and the BD-RE bluray rewritable are the formats that have the technology to play back and also record standard and the high definition T.V broadcasts.

With same disk dimension, blueray technology able to create up to 200Gb. That’s awesome.
